The fourth annual Live Your Dash auto show in Fairfield not only surpassed expectations but also strengthened community ties while raising funds for the Trysten Fellers Memorial Scholarship. Organized by Jason Stott, this event commemorates Trysten Fellers, tragically taken in 2021 at the age of 21. The memorial fund has been awarding scholarships to Teton County seniors pursuing trade school education since its inception. Over three years, it has distributed $27,000 across 15 scholarships.

A Celebration of Life and Community Spirit

In the heart of Fairfield, on May 31, an extraordinary gathering took place under the clear skies. This year's auto show, organized as a tribute to Trysten Fellers, drew nearly 100 entries from distant locations such as Alaska and nearby towns like Livingston and Havre. Among the standout attractions were the legendary Outlaw Country semi-truck and the iconic Optimus Prime semi-truck, which captivated visitors with their grandeur. Event organizer Jason Stott, a close family friend and former colleague of Trysten, expressed immense satisfaction over the turnout, noting that it was significantly better than the previous year.

The day unfolded with a vibrant mix of activities, including silent auctions, raffles, and food stalls, all contributing to the cause. Attendees were treated to music courtesy of Mandy with Teton Tunes and admired the impressive flag display orchestrated by AJ Concrete Pumping. Trophies, crafted by Nikki Gulick, were presented in various categories, celebrating creativity and craftsmanship. Shanna Bulik’s 1969 Chevy Impala SS won the People’s Choice Award, while Don Pinion’s 1941 Dodge WC 12 received the Trysten’s Choice Award, reflecting the spirit of the event.

This year’s scholarship recipients included Adalynn Hess, Elijah Ward, Remington Peters, Hunter Lohman, Arionna Gomes, and Olivia Lightner, each receiving financial aid towards their trade school aspirations.

Donations continue to be accepted via checks addressed to the Trysten Fellers Memorial Fund at 1102 Highway 408, Fairfield, MT 59436.

Through this event, Fairfield residents have demonstrated their commitment to preserving Trysten’s legacy and supporting future generations.
