Pittsburgh Steelers Gear Up for Summer Training Camp

This summer, the Pittsburgh Steelers are set to embark on their 58th training camp season at Saint Vincent College in Latrobe. The team's schedule includes a series of open practices, padded sessions, and exhibition games designed to prepare them for the upcoming football season. Fans will have multiple opportunities to witness the players in action, with several public events scheduled throughout July and August.

Beginning on Wednesday, July 23, the Steelers will convene at Saint Vincent College for the start of training camp. The following day, Thursday, July 24, marks the first practice open to fans. As preparations intensify, the team will conduct its first padded practice on Tuesday, July 29. A highlight of the schedule is the annual night practice, set to take place on Friday, August 1, at Latrobe Memorial Stadium starting at 7 p.m.

The final practice accessible to the public is scheduled for Tuesday, August 12. Admission to these events is complimentary; however, attendees must secure mobile tickets in advance. Season ticket holders gain priority access to tickets beginning on Tuesday, June 24, at 10 a.m., followed by waitlist members at 11 a.m. Tickets for the general public will be released at noon through Ticketmaster.

All open practices commence at 1:55 p.m., providing an ideal opportunity for fans to observe the team's progress. The Steelers' preseason kicks off with an exhibition game against Jacksonville on Saturday, August 9, airing on KDKA-TV at 7 p.m. Additionally, a joint practice with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers is planned for Thursday, August 14, though this session will not be open to the public. The official exhibition match against the Buccaneers follows on Saturday, August 16, also broadcast on KDKA-TV at 7 p.m.
