This food drive aims to gather essential supplies for Gleaners Community Food Bank while commemorating the store's 14 years of operation. The initiative spans from morning till evening, encouraging community members to contribute generously.

In the vibrant town of Howell, residents are invited to participate in a meaningful day of giving at the Heart of Michigan shop. Organizers have announced that this year’s drive seeks not only to collect food but also to celebrate their enduring commitment to local businesses and charities. Visitors donating at least 15 non-perishable goods will be rewarded with exclusive items crafted within the state, such as those from Cherry Republic or Faygo. Furthermore, participants stand a chance to win exciting raffles throughout the day.

Owner Karen Wing expressed her gratitude towards the community, highlighting how vital contributions to Gleaners have become due to rising living costs. Last year alone, the event supplied over a thousand meals, underscoring its significance.
